Summer Dreams 1st Logbook Entry

Being the first logbook entry, the information presented is a little mixed up.  First of all, I started development of this section (the functional part in WordPress) on my site in February.  After deciding on the format, in the end of May I finally determined how I'll do the weather "snapshot" for the time/date of a log.  This log entry was first created in May 31st therefore the weather snapshot lists the temperature as 13 C at night.  Obviously, this is somewhat erroneous now as I'm updating this log on June 22nd.  Any way, I'm still working on finishing the technique to obtain "snapshots" of the weather.  Currently the function is implemented using PhantomJS and some PHP code.  The tool I build is able to obtain an image snapshot of the Environment Canada's weather button as rendered by a browser.  The other parts of the log entry, like the map elements, are done by Google.  Currently, they using the Google Map API in interactive mode (the static mode can't be used much before it becomes unavailable) but I may do a image snapshot of that too.

Anyway, as of this writing Summer Dreams has been splashed and I've officially begun the 2015 boating season with my first trip out on the Big Rideau on Saturday June 20th.  The above is a representation of where Summer Dreams was rafted up to my slip neighbour's boat for an enjoyable evening.
